Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Mescal-J6 Fire District collects through this website and how it is used.

Browsing the website

You can read every page and download every document without giving us any information. This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or other tracking tools. Like all websites, our web host keeps standard technical logs (such as the address of your device, the page requested and the time) to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to identify visitors.

Information you send us

If you use one of our online forms (contact, board contact, public records request or employment application), we receive the information you type, such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address and your message or application. We use it only to respond to you, to process your request or application, and to keep the records the law requires.

A records request involving patient care information is handled under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), as explained on the request form.

Public records

The District is a public agency. Messages and forms sent to the District may be public records under Arizona law (A.R.S. Title 39, Chapter 1) and may have to be released on request, except where the law protects them, such as personnel and medical information.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your information for marketing. We share it only with the District staff and officials who need it to respond, with service providers who run our website and email on our behalf, or when the law requires it.
